About me
My name is Kira Couo, a Finland-Swede who has lived in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the past 20+ years. I'm a single parent to two tweens and work with innovation at a large global company. In recent years, I've also studied and practiced coaching and therapy alongside my job.
I'm passionate about understanding people and believe we all have untapped potential that sometimes needs a little push. Personally, CBT has helped me navigate PTSD, depression, stress, burnout, and major life changes like alopecia universalis, hormonal imbalances, and divorce.
I'm a certified CBT therapist and have studied coaching and NLP. I currently work with a small number of clients, focusing on coping strategies, neurodiversity, and life/career planning tools that combine CBT, NLP, and holistic methods.
I'm also an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and regularly hold lectures on these topics, aiming to foster inclusive environments both professionally and personally.
Sessions are based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and include practical tools, reflection exercises, and journaling. They are held online via Teams, in Swedish or English.
